Our 19 year old grandson was injured on the job last week. He was working for an asphalt company in South Carolina. My daughter and family moved there in February. Not quite clear as to exactly what happened but he was hit by a truck that was on the job. Injured his orbital bone and shoulder. Spent two days int he hospital. Surgery will be needed on his shoulder. The rest will heal.
My husband and I are leaving tomorrow morning for SC. His brother came in from North Dakota and his father flew in the day it happened(my daughter and their father divorced about 5 years ago).
Always worried about Evan and his job in North Dakota. Being a welder you worry about setting clothes on fire. Instead this happens.
Will let you know how things are going. My daughter has sent pics of Owen to my husband but he won't show me.
