Can anyone tell me the rules for a caution?? I have been following Nascar for a long, long time, and I was always under the impression that when the Yellow flew the field was frozen, and then picked back up before the pits open.
I have always heard that the only people that weren't frozen were the ones that the caution was for, so he should have been sent to the back and not allowed to stay 6th. It has always been if You are reason for the caution, You do not get Your position back.
If that and it always has been, how in the hell did Larson, who the flag was for get back in line and come out of the pits in 4th. He was the reason for the caution.
I have been telling everyone that Nascar does what they want when it comes to HMS and this is just the icing on the cake. Maybe they changed the rule for that race only. LMAO
