Mom passed away3 yrs ago on St Patrick's day March 17th. I got a letter from the lawyer said the final papers are being settled right now but she needs 8.00 from me because she needed me to sign a 13.6 certification of termination instead of the 13.9 she had me sign back in December... because I was the sole beneficiary and mom was insolvent. So, I sent the 8.00 check and I'll have to wait again! The court is nickel and diming me to where I'll be lucky to get anything back!

Maybe by the end of summer it might be done??? Seems like it's every 3 months I get a letter from my lawyer so maybe June. It just eats at me how long this is taking. This lawyer and I have had words back and forth since she took over . I don't like her and she seems to be an idiot! If I call her she says I"m lucky she doesn't charge me for calling her to find out something even though it's usually every 3 months she gets back to me. I"ll be glad when it's all over and done with and I never have to deal with her again.
Sorry, I just needed to vent. It's been weighing on me every now and then and today was one of my days.
