Martin and Denny showed restraint and they chose their words wisely and I give them credit for that !
in this case I believe NASCAR didn't react as quickly as maybe they should have but I think it was Denny that said the spotters should have alerted the officials about the condition of the racetrack also? It seemed to happen really fast and NASCAR said they have run in mist before so I don't entirely blame NASCAR for not red flagging the race until the weather passed. The radar just looked like a little bleep so in this case I don't blame them for waiting to see if it passed.
I thought you were supposed to stay behind the pace car and not on it's bumper as many times as he did. Sure, like you said, emotions run high right now but he needed to show more restraint ! They even said in the booth that for KB he was watching his words. He had to have known he shouldn't have done that ! JMO too !
