Re: Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving
Just me, Tom and Buddy this year. Ohio is really bad for the virus. We keep hearing of people we know who have had it, have it , or has died. And the ones who have died are not old people. So scary ! I only go out for supplies. We have a stay at home order in place again. I called my daughter in law this morning to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving. Mark is working today and tomorrow since no one is getting together. His factory offered him triple time for today and tomorrow. Who can turn that down? Since 2020 is so screwed up why not? He's fortunate enough to have a job through all this so he was going to do it. It's so strange not being with our families but I know it's best right now. I see on TV the long lines of people waiting in food lines. It makes me so thankful for everything we have especially this year. My mom's birthday was Nov 23rd. 1st one without her. Tom said we are the next generation to go. Not to get morbid or anything and we're not ready to check out yet but it does start you to thinking. Anyway, i wish all my friends here at Jr Fans a Happy Thanksgiving. Or as best we can do right now. Oh, yesterday Tom woke up and we had no heat. I didn't know it because I was buried in my blankets but he and Buddy were getting cold. So, we called a company we used this past summer for our air conditioner and we got a new furnace put in.. Luckily we didn't have to wait. So, we got heat and peace of mind before our cold weather really starts coming in. It wasn't a bad price either. $1,900 . And, we didn't have to wait either. Take care everybody !!
