Thanks to all our vets. My dad was a corporal in the Army and I have always been proud of his service. He was wounded in Italy ( The Alps ) and was hit in the thigh and foot. They told him he wouldn't walk again but he worked hard at it and overcame it. As a kid and a teenager I would talk to him about his war experiences and before he died I got more information on his time in the service. I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget.
I cherish his memories !!
