Re: Tonight's game...My take on the ending
It WAS sad.... Miles Garrett took away a great game and all the players who made the good plays to beat the Steelers in a very good game until the last 8 seconds. As coach Kitchens said, no one is going to remember how well the Browns played . They are only going to remember the boneheaded play Garrett made on Rudolph. Granted Rudolph was kicking in the groin and going for Miles' helmet . He was mad he was getting sacked so much but that in NO WAY gives any player ANY RIGHT to take off the opponents helmet and use it as a weapon on him . What a STUPID move ! He's lucky he didn't seriously damage Rudolph. It could have went more serious than what it was. We watched in disbelief ! It was a good game till then and Cleveland had not beat Baltimore and Steelers together in a season in forever ( if ever ??) We should have been celebrating the win. But how can anyone celebrate that ending ? Garrett is a great player but he needs some serious anger management classes if he is ever going to play again PLUS the fines PLUS sitting out the rest of this season.
I just wonder how the upcoming game in Pittsburg is going to go ? I'm thinking Kitchens shouldn't put Baker in as quarterback because he could be a target for the hit. I hate to see even a backup quarterback go in but they have to play the game. Gonna be interesting to say the least.
I also think the other penalties on the Steeler's Pouncy and the Browns Okachobe were right to be given out. What a disaster for the last 8 seconds of a good game.
