You Aren't The Only Ones

This week it rained every day except Friday. Wednesday night it didn't want to stop Poured for several hours. We have no problems, but don't have to go far to where people are flooded. Graduations that were scheduled had to be moved to another night because so many roads and people needed to handle the mess wouldn't make it. A bridge that I use to get into town blew out. There is a lake that is on military property across the street. It flows into the Rancocas Creek that eventually goes to the Delaware River. People live along it and I know they had to be evacuated. It runs right through towns and has made a mess. Heard the other night on the news that compared to 2018, 2019 has had 9 inches more rain. Now I shouldn't say this but I have been able to go to my local dirt track tonight will make 12 nights without a rain out. Unlike last year. They've just gotten lucky that the rain was during the week and not on Saturday's. Have still needed a jacket and sometimes depending on the wind(which has blown every Saturday so far)needed a blanket for my legs. Earlier in the season the long underwear was a must. We see people in shorts and tank tops and sandals and don't know how they do it.
