Electric vehicle advise?

Posted by North Cyprus Hatter User icon on October 10, 2026, 08:07:38

We are moving back to the UK soon and thinking of buying an electric vehicle. My brother has just bought a Amoda Noble and loves it.

If anyone can offer advise on that or other electric cars it would be appreciated, I know nothing at all about them, cheers.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy, sometimes I leave her in bed.

Choice really depends on driving habits if it’s nothing more than 2 mile trips to corner store doesnt matter but if you want a car that will perform and be cost effective I would go Hybrid not EV …..easiest thing to do is rent a couple different cars including a Hybrid and a EV and see what features you like and don’t ….personally I would never own a EV …and BYD make a decent looking car
Good lick

Why would you never own an EV?

At my ago of 66 I can’t bring myself to owning an EV. Think I’ll stick with my two Jags.

I know but I only lurk there, not a member.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy, sometimes I leave her in bed.

Consider leasing. Select car lease are pretty good. You can buy the car after the contract ends.
