County Historian Ian Watts `latest look back tells of 9000 + gates at EP…….6-0 & 5-1 County wins, and confirmation that refs were no better then than now as County had a goal disallowed as ` the scorer allegedly `called out for his marker to leave the ball` which presumably he did, then our man scored. Old hedgie will have been at the game but can offer no corroboration …..it`s all here though…enjoy !
