Promotion?

Im quite relaxed about the game, personally speaking I honestly dont think the ground is anywhere near good enough for the championship, also, I think 75% of the current squad are no where near championship level, having said all that it would be wrong of me not to want promotion, sadly I couldn't get over from Cyprus but will have my County TV nice and early.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy, sometimes I leave her in bed.

I have a gut feeling we will do it but I’m acting very subdued regarding it certainly not bullish !!! As people I know are saying ain’t you excited, I am but not trying to think about it 😂😂as bottom of my mind think we will do it

We are going up.

If only for a couple of hours of absolute euphoria, that’s football.
I have no issues with staying in league one.would not like to see us much lower admitted.Should we get pummelled every game in the Championship next season so be it.
We are there, participants on a great adventure, that will be talked about for eons..😉

Exactly the same feelings. There's no point pretending we can buy our way into the top 6 so why waste Stott's money. Go up and whatever happens, happens.

Everything North Cypress Hatter says is true - makes a refreshing change to hear someone who is in touch with reality.
He is right that the squad is well below Championship standard but they still may get over the line as Bolton aren't much good either! Really this is a clash of two mediocre sides.

You do not sound like a County fan. To infer we would not be striving to strengthen for next season, whatever division we are in?! Talk about out of touch with reality. Obviously "Jimbo" was just a smoke screen. You should maybe change it to "shit disturber", in Welsh perhaps?

Dear Browny, if I wasn't a County fan why would I have attended their matches at almost 90 different grounds?
Based on today's performance my description of the club's squad as mediocre was kind in the extreme.

The more pertinent question is why do you come across so much like various bitter fans of other clubs who hate County to the point of delusion? You do you know, and I'm no happy clapper. Perhaps if you exhibited a more balanced viewpoint rather than the "See, I told you they were shit, look at the game today" attitude. You are as wrong as those who will put the blame 100% on the manager, who is the one and only reason for any of County's success according to you. To be more than generous to you, at best you have chronic tunnel vision, 90 grounds or not.

Everyone I've spoken to has said we'll struggle with this squad. Cardiff summed it up when they got relegated last season, with a wage bill of £40m

The other important point is that it's not like we aren't doing anything about it. I love EP but there is no doubt the old girl needs a bit of investment. However the plan is there and the club have a responsible approach to it.

And the very things that NCH highlights could well play in our favour in the short term - most championship teams won't have had the unique EP experience.
