I know a number of fans have had some major issues with Gavin Bailey since he took up the post of Chief Operating Officer at Edgeley Park. I’m currently writing a big piece regarding Gavin and other senior figures at the club. If you have any background information to provide, or personal issues you’ve experienced over the last few months, please email thescarfmyfatherwore@substack.com

This has also been posted on fb. And reading the comments no one has got a bad word to say against him. May be you should just stick to how many trains it took you to get to a match.

Gavin will have a mortgage, a family to feed. I know I wouldn’t be happy if someone was going to write an article tarnishing my name. It wouldn’t feel like an attack on me it would feel like an attack on my whole family kids and all. It’s entirely up to you but my recommendation is not to write such an article. Nothing good will come of it.

Just my humble opinion.

That wasn't aimed at you it was about the original post. Your words are sensible :-) I seem to remember a similar campaign ‘on behalf of the fans’ about the club giving staff priority access to Wrexham away tickets. That went stone cold quiet the moment he got his own ticket quite possibly from a friend at the club. My Mentell link wasn't a joke.

We’re all different but from my experience in life if I don’t like someone I keep it to myself. I just shrug my shoulders and think well he’s an arse. There’s no need to tell the world it just brings negativity back to you.

Although in the crowd I have been known to join in with the odd Anker chant towards an opposition player
