I paid £1.25 per goal at Edgeley Park last night. You can say what you like about the Vertu Trophy but that’s great value for money! County were 2-0 down to Wolves’ kids early on but fought back to win 5-3, kicking off the group stage with three points. Photos today; report tomorrow.

Yeah I actually enjoyed it in the end. Bit of a novelty sitting in the Main Stand, and like you say a decent runout. Got to see Countt’s youngest every goalscorer too!
