Wigan Away: Part 1

Ticket prices for last night’s Carabao Cup second round tie at the Brick were slashed but I’m sure most County fans still wish they’d spent the money on a takeaway or a trip to the cinema instead. It’s a shame to see County have absolutely zero respect for a competition that’s given supporters some of their best memories over the years, especially with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool just 90 minutes away, but that’s modern football I suppose. I did manage to take some photos of a bridge, a bin and a bus, however, so it’s not all bad.

Both the FA and League Cups are given zero respect by far too many teams including us.

We're part of the problem.

Completely agree.

There’s 138 points to play for in a season. I really don’t see the point in waving the white flag for cup games.

Mike Flynn played 66 games in 1996-97.
