I wonder if news on Hoskonen injury has been held back while we negotiate Hills deal.

We don’t throw money around Willy billy. The coaching and recruitment staff got a prolonged look at him last season. They are obviously confident we are getting value and a big chance of sell-on profit.

At 21, he certainly has room to develop.

Agreed and he has an edge to him which I like. Will he get a 4 year deal?

It’s what we are prepared to pay as l think Norwich would want more hence the sell on.

Hills is set for a medical in the next 24 hours ahead of the initial £1m transfer that could rise to £2m, with a significant sell on clause negotiated by the Canaries.

He has not long celebrated his 21st birthday so won’t be registered until next season. Hopefully an announcement tonight and ready for Saturday.

Later in response to Bilby, in sunny Brisbane, l feel DKD is out of our league now but Ethon Archer is a good shout. Watched the Cheltenham v Exeter game last night until Rydel left the field of play and he looked quite useful. Think there are better around.
