Because working within a limited budget they have secured a known quantity (i.e. a player that has a proven track record at this level) for a finite period of time...this is clever resourceful business planning? What would be unclever is burning our budget on signing a player for a season when you need cover for a month.

Because Tourey and Rydal have gone,, and Edun is out injured.
Only signed a months contract as yet.

If Dodgson were to get injured we'd be without a LB/LWB, so signing Andrew on a short-term deal provides cover for Dodgson whilst Edun's injured.

He is - DA can play LB/LCB and will cover Pye and Dodge I reckon.
