Yep, there was a film with Askey stopping in that spot when there was a game on. Can’t remember the name, but no doubt someone will know.

Leyton Orient’s ground was featured in Stanley Baker film called ‘Robbery’, which was a thinly veiled nod to the Great Train Robbery.

Maine Road featured in Jimmy Grimble.

Damned United featured Saltergate in Chesterfield before demolition.

Bramall Lane in When Saturday Comes.

Rotherham United and Bradford City were in I.D. I was an extra at the Millmoor scenes, which is my claim to fame.

Not sure if Edgeley Park has ever featured in film, but it has been on TV in Great Night Out and Coronation Street.
