There was talk of Stott paying him outside of the club's usual wage structure, but nobody knows how true that is.

45 games.

Only 9 last season but played 36 games in all competitions in 2023/24, which was more than much-loved players like Akil Wright, Callum Camps, Kyle Knoyle, MSH, Will Collar and Myles Hippolyte.

A class player and as for injuries, people seem to forget he started playing league football with Crewe's first team at 16 I think and as a talented footballer, he's had the sh1t kicked out of him for many, many years. When he has played, opponents still frequently leave a foot in him as he plays a pass because he's a class above. Worth a pay as you play wage (or whatever) for sure.

Always in the mire, only the depth varies.

Not "they" my father put his foot down, ended up being a shopfitting joiner then at 21 joined Cheshire Police, retired as a Police inspector.
