Looking close to sealing a deal to Charlton. Rumoured fee of 1.5 million. I think of all the players who have left this summer he will be the most difficult to replace. With his pace and power and the way he presses I don’t think we’ll realise how much that gives to our team until he’s gone.

Agree. Not many around at our level with his qualities. Will be very sad day if he goes. A crowd favourite.

Agree !having a talk yesterday at occ,we were very disappointed about the lack of decent signings!also the departures,2 right sided 2 left sided and a very good centre back all good defenders,no replacements!

Progress has appeared slow but been a lot going on for the club. Chally's new contract, the original planning hearing on EP and rhe final one this week (the site visit by councillors to EP might be tomorrow - June 30 was the date mentioned at the first hearing), Tanto discussions if that's all true....a lot to resolve and it might all be having an effect on what we do and when we announce it
