The stadium has been the home of County since 1902 & doubt very much if any of the moaning minnies that are objecting were residents of Edgeley over a century ago. When buying a home anyone with sense would take into account the flight path, nearby railway that serves 400 trains daily, the busy main roads & ask themselves is this where I want to live.

As for the nod of approval from the town council, I’d be very disappointed if the expansion plans are knocked back. In fact, I’d be challenging them & ask the all important question ‘ where do your loyalties lie with the our football club that flies the flag of Stockport up & down the land’

Judging from this report it all looks very promising on paper but, we now await the decision on 3rd July.
