I was fairly convinced that we would lose him this summer to a Championship side; the Club strategy is to develop emerging talent, sell on and invest - surely with Fraser going that won’t now be the case - thoughts?

If the offer meets the club's valuation, I've no doubt we'll sell despite Horsfall going. You'd hope we'd be looking at seven figures for Pye.Smart-arse pedant

In most Chally interviews since Jan he made reference to possible bids for Pye. Lots of hints doesn’t take a genius to work out he’s up for sale I would say.

I agree, but at the same time, Simon Wilson's interview said we're expecting to bat away offers for players. I think it'll be the middle-ground, in that we're in a good position contract-wise and finance-wise that we don't have to sell Pye unless the right offer comes in; if that offer never comes then he stays.
That said, I do reckon the offer will come and he'll go.Smart-arse pedant
