I was fairly convinced that we would lose him this summer to a Championship side; the Club strategy is to develop emerging talent, sell on and invest - surely with Fraser going that won’t now be the case - thoughts?

If the offer meets the club's valuation, I've no doubt we'll sell despite Horsfall going. You'd hope we'd be looking at seven figures for Pye.

In most Chally interviews since Jan he made reference to possible bids for Pye. Lots of hints doesn’t take a genius to work out he’s up for sale I would say.

I agree, but at the same time, Simon Wilson's interview said we're expecting to bat away offers for players. I think it'll be the middle-ground, in that we're in a good position contract-wise and finance-wise that we don't have to sell Pye unless the right offer comes in; if that offer never comes then he stays.

That said, I do reckon the offer will come and he'll go.
