Agreed with that but it's a bugger it is a fellow L1 club. Although I suppose a Championship side were never going to offer him four years....

Step backwards for him imho. And can’t believe we’ve been outbid on his wages from them. Unless of course there is a replacement lined up. Oh well football ain’t about loyalty anymore. Money talks even at our level….

You can't begrudge him a four year deal; we'd (probably rightly) have never offered that.

Don’t begrudge him getting that just think he’s made the wrong choice and would have had more success with us. Time will tell I suppose and the acid test is how we greet him at EP when we play them. Plenty of former players treated as heroes but a few villains too. I’d suggest the former.

Anyone who booing him would be being daft, as there's no need for any animosity towards him. He's put three years of hard work in and we've had success. He wants to move on, as he did from Northampton when we came calling from the division below them, and it worked out well for him then and may do again. It's disappointing but we'll move on and bring someone else in to replace him.

He is but he's not going to be Horsfall's immediate replacement. He'll play for the U21 team and maybe get some minutes in the EFL Cup/EFL Trophy games.

Weren’t the three young lads announced all on one year contracts? That is very much a suck it and see approach rather than say a 3-year contract we are onto a winner approach.

You never know, but the young lad from Stoke isn’t in as a replacement but defo own for the future - possibly.

Be interesting to see if he will be the captain of Blackpool. Good luck to him he’s been great. If he stays injury free the four year deal will work out well for them.
