Goalkeeper Max Metcalfe has signed a new one-year deal at Edgeley Park, whilst the Club have triggered a one-year extension in the contract of defender Jid Okeke.

The following players will be leaving the Club following the expiration of their contract this Summer:

The following players will return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan spells at Edgeley Park:

Probably me being thick but can someone tell me the difference between the last 2 categories. Have we offered Macca and Collar a deal or not?

Also is it just 1 year deals for the ones offered contracts? As it says offered contracts for the 25/26 season?

Could end up being but I'd be surprised if that was any indication of contract length at this point.

The players with a contract are stated as being under contract for the 2025/26 but quite a lot of them have multiple years left on their deals.

I assume we've not formally offered them a contract yet, whereas we have for Horsfall, Touray and Camps.

To release Knoyle without even offering or discussing any contract would suggest to me we have a right sided defender / wing back lined up.

No, he's more of a RCB. Plus, of we end up keeping MSH then our only two options at RB/RWB would be players who managed 28 appearances between them last season.

Even if MSH stays, we need a big signing at RB/RWB

Agree with that assessment Nik. I’m not convinced by our left side Touray/ Rydel either. Opposition teams seem to have most joy when attacking down that flank
