There he was last night, David Challinor, the best manager County has had in 100 years. The best you and I will ever see. A nice, genuine bloke too. David Challinor, the man who has delivered us a resurrection beyond our wildest dreams (apart from Dosser's but his involve the FIFA World Club Championship and a handkerchief covered in Vaseline). David Challinor, who has not betrayed the weight of the pressure a serial winner like him must put on himself, never mind the weight of our disproportionate hopes. David Challinor, a preacher of the importance of the 12th man. David Challinor who just lead us to 3rd place in League One on a mid-table budget. David Challinor, our perfect manager.
But then oh no disaster strikes! Moments after losing the most important game of his managerial life on penalties David Challinor says something without acknowledging the mitigating circumstance which may have applied to some, as can be seen in the posts about mitigating circumstances that ironically ignore David Challinor's mitigating circumstances.
Some fans think this requires damage limitation but I think I stand with the silent majority when I say “Here’s to you David Challinor, Stockport loves you, our best ever manager, more than you will know, and if you shat in my salad I would thank you, such is my understanding of how fucking lucky we are to have you – o-oh-oh-oh.”
I leave my seat early, but nearly always stay to final whistle.. my perogative. I have no problem with Daves comments.. good to see his passion.. I slag him / team off sometimes, why can he not give it back
All imo
I also agree 👍

Damage limitation?
Will be interesting to see his end of season review and plans for the future.Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Mark Twain
I for one will stay for a minimum of an hour after the game so as not to upset the gaffer. Luckily I’ve retired so no problem in missing the last bus and (eventually) walking home like last evening. …and it shouldn’t matter if any County fans have to start work early in badly paid jobs….they should stay behind and applaud a job (nearly) well done!👍 STILL have ‘(Orson) Cartier Industries (Stockport)’ T-shirts left. 5 sizes…£10 adults…£5 kids. Can’t be arsed posting/delivering so pm me & I’ll meet you in a pub if possible!
