Travel disruption in London tomorrow

Check your travel plans in London if going to Orient tomorrow. TFL have updated tube & overground services since Monday - Bus replacement for Central line tubes to Leyton.

Victoria line to Blackhorse Rd & Walthamstow seems to be operating, then Suffragette Overground to Leyton Midland Rd and/or bus.

Anyone cutting it fine to arrive for KO might get a cab from Walthamstow Central.

(Dosser clearly has inside info or is an unreformed trainspotter)

There was many a time back in Dosser’s youth that he used to enjoy seeing the Duke Of Gloucester buffering up to the rear of The Princess Royal as they pound together over Beattock, pulling a train as long as you could see.

Then he became a volunteer at Dinting Railway Centre and he was always poking around in Duchess of Hamilton’s firebox, trying to clean out her various tubes, before coupling on to her tender behind.
