This team is showing itself to be very resilient. Wycombe were beginning to take control, and as they were about to take their penalty I was thinking it would end up 0-3 or worse.
I don't remember a County team finishing so strongly, as these last two seasons (except for 1991 when we won I think 7 of the last eight).
And I believe no team has done the double over us - has that ever happened before?"I love them boys!"

Yep, been a wonderful ride this season. I have to say, there were times when I thought we were a good league one side but maybe not ready for the championship yet. The way we have finished the season, both as a team and so many individuals hitting great form, has made me "eat my words". I now do not think we would need major strengthening to hold our own in the championship, and maybe more? I did pause today to think of the man who kick-started this wonderful journey, and without our esteemed owner's millions. Take a bow James Gannon Esquire, and of course all the others who kept us alive and kicking before Mr. Stott made his welcome appearance at our helm. Congratulations all and I now firmly believe that we are certainly capable of winning these playoffs. (Of course Dosser would be entitled to say, "I told you so". Mind you he did say as champions didn't he?) Cheers fellow hatters.
