Although this is a minuscule poll, the amount of people who are at this stage of the season are not yet sure if we we will achieve promotion.

I am surprised by how pessimistic the posters on here are. Overwhelmingly of the view that we aren’t going to go up this year.

I am v confident we will make the POs and can see us having enough to win them.

To me it just has the feeling of one of those seasons where we just miss out before going up the following year. 95/96, 06/07, 17/18, 20/21 and 22/23 were all similar. Each time we used the disappointment of missing out to help get us over the line the following season.

I think we’ve done really well this season. So far the team have exceeded my expectations having predicted an 8-10th place finish at the end of the season.

The last few weeks for me have reminded me of our first season back in league 2, where we were very good but when it sometimes really mattered, we dropped points. That’s to be expected, but it leaves me thinking we are just not quite there yet.

Be great to be proved wrong though. Big couple of games coming up. Cmon County 👍

Agree completely - the next two games will give a clear indication not just our position in the League but our readiness/ability to win via the play offs.
Personally I think we will be in the play offs and that’s a lottery.

We’ve dropped off with some disappointing results of late unfortunately 2nd spot looks unlikely. I still fancy us to finish in the play offs but our midfield needs to up its game. I want to see our captain lead by example! There’s nobody to fear in the play offs.

I fully agree on not fearing anyone in the POs. A lot will depend on who is on a run of form then. We are defo good enough to beat any of the teams likely to be in the POs.

Can see it being us and Wrexham at Wembley.

One of the reasons I think we'll go up automatically is that Captain Cock Up is currently having a beer outside the Racecourse Ground before continuing his pub crawl at Adams Park. Or whatever they are now called.

Haven’t given up on the idea of going up automatically just yet. Could depend on us getting maximum points in the next 2 games. A tough ask but not impossible.
