Just seen the Peterborough match report snd Sam Hughes was outstanding today and won their Man of the match

I watched the game. He was ok but never really tested by a poor Orient side on the day.

The older I get the better I was.

He just never seemed happy here. Like he was frozen out from day 1 and only ever played when every squad option was exhausted.

He wasn't given a chance. When called upon he never let us down. I think it was a mistake to let him go out on loan.

Connolly has had plenty of game time and has made plenty of mistakes but he’s now come good. I am sure this would be the case with Hughes. Hopefully the loan deal works out well.

If it works out, we might get a fee for him in the summer, which would work out well if Challinor's made his mind up on him.

Connolly I would agree with you. He does seem to have turned a corner! I was referring to Hughes though. I had him down as a shoe-in for Horsfall, or even to play alongside FH. Hope for the best for him, but would be happy to have him back permanently!
