Who do you want us to sign in the January transfer window?

Apart from a striker or two, although I’d like to see Hughes get a run of games in defence, but l also would like us to sign Walsall’s 22 year old central defender Harry Williams. The name of Williams has done well for us in the past on quite a few occasions.

I have my doubts about some of the summer signings.

I don't think we'll have much choice other than to give Hughes a run of games, if we're without Horsfall for as long as DC suggested.

I wouldn’t mind seeing us getting a tune out of all the players we signed in the summer. Seems that other than on the odd occasion it’s only really Lewis Bate that seems to feature.

Think we will need a striker and a wide player. We have lost Stretts, Mellon, Barry from the starting group of forward players and Tanto and Febs are out until mid Feb at the earliest. Add to that Diamond lacking in final product and we probs need 2 minimum.

Think we can cope with the rest of the positions with what we have though wouldn’t be surprised to see a CB in on loan.

The big mistake was failing pre season to sign another experienced striker to replace Madden.

Bad decision. You can’t count on any player not losing form or being injured. We didn’t have a striker on the bench last game.

Don't think you can trust either fiorini or diamond for a consistent starting place based on performances so far, if we had more strength in depth I'd suggest loans for both to give them a run of games..hughes imo I would trust, it's a shame wright was ditched , I don't think connelly is really an upgrade, ...incoming. how about p madden and c Evans.. prob our two best players at end of last season ..no chance of course ..

Have to agree with Fiorini and Diamond.

They need loaning out to a team that will give them regular football, at a lower level. Hopefully that will help build their confidence. They are miles away from what we need.

I'd like to see if we could take Nathan Lowe on loan from Stoke. He's done really well at Walsall and maybe they want to see what he can do at a higher level, like Villa with Barry?

Might be worth loaning Ethan Wheatley from United too. He needs to get some league experience and not just play academy football.

A left sided player you can put a good cross in and a striker .

I do think players of experience at lower level, preferably tough guys really, we've made a point of saying we signing lads for the long term which is good but we could do with mid season with a bit of here and now experience, not sure who tho!
