With Uruguay Argentina Paraguay hosting 1 game each to mark tournament's centenary as Uruguay hosted 1st world cup in 1930.

2034 Saudi Arabia good luck with anybody planning a trip out to Saudi for that one

Whilst you're very likely correct, as the Saudis ran unopposed, they do usually decide these things significantly in advance. 2018 and 2026 were decided 8 years before and 2022 was decided 12 years before.

Pockets lined for all of major events and the Olympics is no different. Remember Qatar and they were defo going to hold it in June/July….until they moved it to December.

Brisbane got the 2032 Olympics unopposed.

Many think it is all about status as there seems little financial benefit. The stadium issue is a sh#t show as there seems to be no money to build one.
