Too many times we went back to Ben and then we try and play it out from the back. It’s a daft tactic and I agree it’s costing us goals.

Addai is easily 2nd best to Ben and although Ben was at fault for the first goal I’d 100% have him playing versus Corey who breeds no confidence in the defenders around him and the fans have bleedin kittens watching him. His lame attempt to stop the Connelly back pass on Saturday was laughable.

As for Woots he is a 100% player every game. Sometimes not as effective as other times but tonight you have to question those around him in first half. No wonder Chally withdrew the entire midfield for 2nd half.

It was a crazy game
First half they dominated play yet we had two wonderful attempts at goal and could easily have gone in with a 2 - 2 score line
Second half we matched them in general play but without threatening to score
At least we can take a few positives out of the match and let’s not forget we were missing the kingpin of our defence

We were negative in the first half. Gave them too much respect.
They are not unbeatable, Shrewsbury showed that recently.

Agree Duffers - Ben’s mistake was a mare but felt like it was only a matter of time until they scored that first half.

Bold of Chally to go for it second half with the changes he made. Needed one to go on for us and that would have given them the jitters. 3 points this Saturday to put this behind us plz.
