What he was doing is called the results of pre-game journalistic research and we are lucky to have a dedicated and talented commentator like him.

How would you like him to fill the time? Talk about the sartorial and grooming habits of his nearest ten fans?

Or is what you are doing just being a nob?

My father was a County fan like my grandfather before :-)

People seem to forget that commentating for audio listeners is a very different skill to commentating for viewers. He has to do both at the same time and he does it very well.
