Stay in the penalty area and don't pretend to be the centre half and that doesn't go in.

I was always told to never pass back to my goalkeeper if he is stood in front of his goals. It's not rocket science.

So both were at fault, but with the goalkeeper in his penalty even Ronaldo shouldn't be able to beat him from near the half way line.

Agreed, both at fault but to be beaten from nigh on the halfway line by a ball that dribbled home is unforgivable and why didn’t he try to get to it? Just to shuffle after it and watch it go in was awful. Having said that Addai was shaky throughout . He has real trouble getting down low and the way he refuses to leave his line to claim crosses is really worrying.

The older I get the better I was.

I agree with that Yeti.i am still hopeful that Addai can develop and work on the weaknesses in his game.

If Addai goes that way he will end up as number 2 or get shipped out and replaced by better.

Hughes illness is more of a worry especially for a Brum next week.

I thought he looked excellent today - going to be a tough choice on Wednesday if Bate is back from illness.

Bate would be a huge miss if he's not fit for Wednesday. That said it's a squad game nowadays so fingers crossed.

Let's hope that Birmingham get a good kicking all over the park by Bruce's lads at Blackpool tomorrow.
