Irrational reasons to dislike Burton Albion

1. The season we were relegated from the Football League we spent weeks being crap without being in the bottom two. This was because Burton were also crap but somehow had eight games in hand on us. All of which they contrived to play on the same Tuesday in mid April.

It completely wasn't their fault but I have detested them ever since.

2. The A38.

Any others?

Burton have a history of crap football clubs. Neither Swifts or Wanderers could hack it in the League, and even when they merged to form United they still couldn’t warrant a League place. Minor shitty town in the arse end of Staffordshire.

The only Burton thing I vaguely like is Richard…. and he has nothing to do with the place.

The clothing store was crap too.

Never really thought about it before, but I really do hate Burton. Hope we stuff them on Saturday and send them back down to oblivion. Bastards.

Interesting Burton claim to fame…. Bass Brewery ‘red triangle’ logo is the oldest trademark in the UK.

If Jon Keighran is reading, I expect a shout out during the commentary if you mention this.
