It could have been 2 or 3 nought. It was a nervous last 10 minutes defending deep.

Had to miss my first home game in a long time and it sounds like I missed a cracker
Had to spend the day in bed after a bad reaction to a flu jab - fortunately Sky TV had excellent coverage of the game - a joy to watch the goal and hear the wonderful praise from Hendrie of both Barry and the team in general

We were fantastic today. In some ways I enjoyed that game more than last week weirdly. Tense at the end with a bit of jeopardy. We deserved the three points and we look so much better playing 3 at the back with wing backs. Lewis Bate was fantastic but also credit to Norwood. It’s fair to say he’s started slowly and has struggled to adapt but in the last two games he’s been great. It’s his position to lose now !

All the players put in a great shift. What a great goal to shut the Wrexham supporters up

I'd have been tempted to have subbed Rydel and Southam-Hales ten minutes earlier as they were both running on empty tanks. This gave Wrexham that little bit of belief that they could possibly snatch something from the game.

As for Bate, Norwood and Connolly all three are showing their true value to the squad and why they were brought in. Class.

Oh and a confident Tanto would have stuck that one on one away late on and taken some of the pressure off the supporters
