Agree with all of that. So glad we have DC he’s calm and level headed. No tantrums or rants like you see from other managers. A fair assessment.

Sadly though it's just one win, one loss and five drawn games. It's a good job we had a decent run of results at the start of the season or the alarm bells would be ringing.

I don't remember their keeper making a decent save last night which is worrying

I would be ok with finishing mid table and making a push next season. There’s nothing to be afraid of in this division we’ve only lost one game. We controlled most of that game and just needed to be more clinical in the final third. I am still made up to be in League One tbh. A stadium expansion and then promotion would give us the best platform to stay in the Championship.

DC will sort it but I suspect his job in someways is more difficult with such a large squad. I personally don’t like making four subs unless you are getting thumped. He needs to work out his best 11 or best 13/14 players.

I thought DC was spot on. We played much better for me last night. We need to work on the final third more. Too many times a pass was slightly behind or too long or miss controlled. This allowed the opposition to get set up behind the ball. This season is about consolidation and building that identity with these new players. Some of these players may not make it and that's fine. We then add in the summer again. But overall I'm pleased with what I have seen. It's slow progression but progression all the same.

Based on last night, we're so close to giving someone a battering. If we score in the first 20 last night, when we were genuinely playing excellent football, we win by 4 or 5 IMO

We seem to be missing the spark that Sarcevic, Collar and Madden gave us previously.

I think we need to pick our best starting eleven and go with it for the next ten games.

We're playing Tuesday/Saturday for the next three weeks, so it's unlikely we'll be doing that.

Madden, Sarcavic, plus L H Evans who I would have kept scored 36 goals between them.
They have not been replaced with players of similar ilk.

We have in previous seasons spread goals throughout the team.
I don’t see that happening at the moment.
Where would we be without Barry.
