Woots has tailed off after an electric start - would be happy for Tanto to be given a go when th LB up front though.

We’re not really playing to Woottons strengths as said in posts below. The sktv guy is right . Balls to feet please. But when he plays it’s a lazy easy option to lump it up to him in the hope he wins it.

I agree with Tanto and Barry upfront. We will play our best football with them two up top I feel. Some devastating pace and balls on the deck played behind the defenders for Tanto to exploit.

What has happened to the free flowing passing game that we showed at the pre season training camp matches over in Spain?

Lets see what Hughes can do whilst Horsfall is out.

Maybe a back three Horsfall, Hughes, and Pye might be a bit more solid with Adamarola and Fevrier giving us some width and pace.

Norwood, Bate and Fiorini in the middle of the park, and Tanto and Barry up top.

Imo not enough steel in the middle of the park defo need a big strong figure of authority in there.

He is one of the best ratter/tacklers that I've seen for a long time. Very good at stealing the ball.

The type of player you're describing is a modern day Norman Hunter who wouldn't last thirty minutes

Thought Addai came to our rescue numerous times. Rightly criticised for hoof ball to Woots, but not long ago criticised on here for tippy-tappy playing out from the back.
Also thought Powell, Bate, Pye & Connelly largely played well (some occasional errors from each) and deserve time in next matches.
Norwood can be v good & then minutes later crap. Also disappointed with contribution of all the subs, they’re each talented, but they are not showing it enough when coming on in the final quarter. Impact subs without the impact.

Too many of Addais saves end up being unconventional for want of a better word, something makes me feel nervous about him but not sure exactly what it is

Watched a couple of City games this season. I'd be having kittens if Ederson was my keeper. But he's pretty good at shot-stopping and one on ones as well.
