Just saw this from the BBC, I assume that County will eventually be fined for the same eventually?

Very different case to ours.

Mansfield had fans the other side of the advertising boards before the game had even finished, plus it was determined that they hadn't done enough to discourage an invasion prior to that.

I'd be very surprised if we were fined.

Edit: Having looked into it, fans went back on once the game had restarted after the previous invasion.

I get the commission’s point but it does feel like the joy is being stamped out of the game. VAR and this being two prime examples.

I don't watch the premiershit but have seen VAR deployed when England play in a major tournament.

What can be wrong in seeing the correction of wrong decisions even if VAR isn't perfect.

In our league and below, the referees are appalling. The lady ref a couple of years ago showed how it should be done but we've had precious few (if any) decent officials since.

Take Crawley away as just one example; I'm convinced we would have won there if some of Magoo's decisions were scrutinised.

Good point, well made but it is spoiling the spontaneity of goal celebrations.

Also, on a slightly separate but related point. The FÃ cup last year had games with VAR and games with no VAR in the same round! VAR games being at Greedy League grounds. This is ridiculous.

A missed opportunity for fans of Greedy a league clubs to see VARless games and compare and contrast.

Although with VAR I am starting to believe if yiu have it use it for everything otherwise what’s the point - apart from creating more talking points

VAR ruins the excitement of the moment. It’s not as if it always gets the right decision anyway. Especially penalties.

VAR is crap for spontaneous celebration.

When Tanto scored at Wembley against Carlisle, I didn't go berserk in celebration like I should have done as I was waiting to see if it was going to be VAR'd.
