Thoughts on transfer window.

Can see rydel going out on loan till Xmas and maybe MSH

Stretton could also do with regular game time. Maybe a loan move is on the cards for him.

With the new players that have already arrived do they push Touray and Knoyle further down the pecking order?

Can't see Knoyle being pushed down the pecking order as we haven't signed anyone who has RB or RWB as their natural position, hence having players out of position there in the first two league games.

The only natural RB/RWBs we have are Knoyle and MSH, both of whom are out injured for the foreseeable.

Mingi filled in at RB but his natural position is CB or CDM, same with Onyango.

Neither of them are specialists in that position like Knoyle and MSH are.

So why were they both signed by DC? We didn't need any more CB's

Given that Byrne and Wright both left, I'd say we did need more CBs, particular ones that are versatile and can cover other positions.

If Mingi is the preferred RB you'd have thought we'd have played him there at Blackpool. Once either Knoyle or MSH are back there's no chance Mingi will be playing there. I'd go as far as to say we'll see a RB/RWB come in on loan until January before the month is out.

Blackburn will possibly go for Davis Keillor Dunn. He would have been good at County when with Oldham, but will play higher.

Hope to see some incomings before next Thursday’s deadline.

A striker of similar ilk to Wootton as back-up / cover to him.
Wootton can’t be expected to play 90 mins every game.

I feel the same MD, and would also like a utility versatile player that could cover RWB as well as another position.

Transfer window closes in eight days, next Friday 30th. Have we already completed our business. The other forum talking about Olli Norwood rumoured to be offered 3 years. Hope not after all the wonderful signings this summer we could do better with someone younger. I feel once every one is fit we should be done.

33 year old being given a three year contract for a position that we have already signed players for?

It goes against the whole structure of the new young player strategy.

I've been watching, playing and in involved in running football teams for the last 48 years. Structures and ideology go out the window as soon as any team gets the chance to get a player a cut above.

I don't know if Norwood is a cut above though.
