2-0 at half-time, a much better second half sees us pull one back with 5 minutes to go setting up a nervy last few minutes for the hosts.

I'm hoping for a 3-0 win.

First real challenge will see where we are in terms of quality against a reasonable League one side.

Oh and good luck to the lads walking to Blackpool for charity. Really good effort that lads.

Whoever managed to convince Lewis Bate to join us then take a bow.

The Louie Barry goal was exceptional, the second goal was created by Bate's vision to intercept the keepers pass out. He ran at the defence looked left and passed right to put it on a plate for Fevrier. Excellent stuff.

And nice strength from Tonto for the third.

Not many would have predicted a 3-0 away win

Challinor had no real interest in Tuesday's cup game - his focus is firmly on the league and keeping his fit players away from trouble...
Another tremendous League 1 performance today - Bate, Diamond, Barry and Wootton in particular are really making the difference at the moment although the rest of the team are showing real commitment plus the added benefit of Fevrier as an impact sub.....

Agreed; Challinor told everyone in advance what the plan was for Tuesday. It went largely as expected.
