It'll hopefully give him the opportunity to develop rather than struggling to even make the bench for us.
We have several very good central midfield players ahead of him.

Yes. Think that was the plan last season but we had a load of injuries and he did okay against Wednesday and that delayed him going out. Player development is tricky and can get knocked off course very easily.
