Addai: good goalkeeper, huge presence but Ben starts season for me, we've a lot of work to do in playing wit his high risk distribution, played too many short straight balls out in Blackburn friendly alone that if they had shooting boots on would scored at least two in 1st half alone, Ben has the balance right of when to go short and go long, Addai is far too casual at the min
Adaramola: Not seen much obviously but did acquit himself well against Blackburn and more powerful than Touray, hopefully taken off as precaution on friday
Mellon: Looked very capable in fleeting appearances and would give us different characteristics to our other strikers lets hope the murmurs of him being out for season are unfounded
Fiorini: not been impressed thus far for the 2nd biggest fee paid this summer, looks a little lightweight and already shown his fragilities with previous injury problems showing
Metcalfe: no point assessing too much he wont play
Fevrier: another missed fair chunk of pre-season doesnt look fit to me looks a bit heavy so looks few weeks behind everyone else at moment
Bate: standout performer of pre season by a mile, looks a complete class act
Mingi: not seen him play yet
Diamond: another who has made good impression thus far and given he lost two years of his career expect him to grow further as season goes on, looks a good acquisition
Hughes: looked pretty solid thus far and covers plenty of bases for us in central defence
Connolly: liked look of him in Chester game but unfortunately picked up injury in Pinatar
Trialists Gayle showed good touches, Norwood looked off pace but reckon all trialists are just filling in and we wont sign any of them
If Knoyle injury keeps him out a while we need a right back at least until Jan with MSH also out, wouldnt trust Okeke to be our cover there
Same if Mellon is out for season we need bring another loanee in
Must stress only early indications and hopefully they all shine come seasons start

Excellent SLomas, unfortunately that tackle by Travis did injure Adaramola according to Sam Byrne. Fingers crossed for Mellon hope we learn more on Tursday.
Do you know who the second half trialist substitute was against Carlisle. I believe Blewitt and Guiness-Walker played in the first half?

Yes, thanks from me too. I like players that aren't scared to take responsibility and who will look to get defenders on the back foot by getting forwards in play fast. That looks like what we have got so my early season meltdown and post Christmas anxiety apart I am looking forward to the new season which I expect us to begin with a few heavy defeats.
Just watched a guy on YouTube giving his forecast for next season, quite a detailed amount of information about each clubs signings and departures, but his conclusion, relegation for County??

There is always a chance it goes tits up but highly unlikely. We have a settled backroom staff who know what they are doing. If push came to shove. We would strengthen in January (might do so for a promotion push also).
Unless we bring back McKnight and appoint Wayne Rooney to replace Chally, we aren’t going down.Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Mark Twain
Wish I had your confidence! Looks like another injury-prone season coming up

Then again we have changed a lot of players and it's a risk and you have just gone and triggered my early season meltdown!

Several people on here said that Mingi has talent but is very injury prone. I hope he is not going to be another Powell . Hopefully our back room staff checked his injuries before we signed him

Yeah great that haven't they realized they won't be playing FGR and Sutton this time? I read into that 4 in 4 out they're pretty much skint.

I am concerned that with Olaofe, Stretton and Mellon all injured we are relying on Wootton and Barry to be our main source of goals with no striker support off the bench. Not hopeful of more than a draw on Saturday now, when the fixtures were released l felt it was an easy win. Disappointed with how we played in pre season and for me Bate, Diamond and Adaramola were all exciting to watch.
Not certain how long Olaofe, Stretton and Mellon are out for, as nothing mentioned officially, but hopefully we will hear at the forum. Hope someone mentions, if we intend make some more signings before the window closes.
