Weird, as he's still not showing on the mobile version of the website.

Maybe he was there all along on the desktop version and it's just a mobile issue?

The club posted a photo on the Whatsapp channel on 26 July from the media day when all the photos were taken, so Mellon won't have been injured at that point.

Photo might have been taken but, if the injury is a bad one, perhaps the loan deal might be cancelled?

Good point. Can loans be cancelled due to injury? Surely there is a binding contract for whatever period (unless injury can indeed nullify it)

There might be clauses that allow it or the clubs come to a mutual agreement. If it's really bad and there's no chance of playing before the next transfer window, the parent club might cancel it with a view of regaining fitness and loaning them back out in January.

All speculative though; someone said that Mellons's injury apparently 'doesn't look good' but that could mean anything really.
