Bizarre. Once again, security at a high profile game has been found wanting. It seems to be happening a lot: Wembley in the Euros final, Paris again, even the stereotypically well-organised Germans had trouble.

I wonder why. Is it match organisers are being caught on the hop by a sudden upsurge in unruly behaviour or has there been a collective loss of competency?

Don't forget the attack on Liverpool fans in Paris
Last night was St Etienne.
An Aussie tourist gang raped by 5 men in Montmartre on the weekend. 2 Channel 9 journalists attacked by a gang in a robbery on Monday.
Paris is far from the city of love. When I was last in Montmartre it was populated by the roughest crowd you could imagine.

I fear there is more to come
