I was dead lucky that the only season I did every game was the 9-in-a-row season (lived abroad 89-05). Saw history made. And the following season, our first ever win at Wembley.
History is set to be made in South Wales next Saturday, if you are thinking of going snap up one of the few tickets remaining quickly because we are making history again as the first team in tier 4 to win 13 in a row - this will be unlucky for County but the Newport variety rather than us!Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Mark Twain
Would like to be there, but it is a long and expensive trek, so I think I will wait until I can witness the even more momentous 14th consecutive win at EP v Gangland City on the 28th.
Those who do propose to visit Wales will at least be spared the now-abolished toll on the Severn Bridge.
It always used to make my head spin. Why should it cost to enter Wales and free to return to civilisation?
Surely it would have been more logical to demand that travellers stump up coin of the realm to make their escape from Wales.
