Worth a read. Stand-outs:
- Paul Simpson had 27 moves in his football and manager’s career and they meant changing schools for the kids A LOT
- didn’t know PS had had a kidney removed due to cancer

If we hadn’t sacked PS when we did, think we would have stayed up that season. Not by much, but enough is enough. Could have all turned out so different.

Remember we lost 5-0 to Hereford morecambe & port Vale all inside a month 2 of them at home, personally he had to go.

Deeds - if he had to go, he had to go beginning of December and have someone lined up to come in who had a reasonable track record. That would have given the new guy some time to shape the squad in the transfer window and possibly keep us up.

That would have been second best option for me. Despite all the white, would have stuck with him as I think he would have kept us up.

Worst possible option (and said so at the time so not hindsight) was to outbid the decision so late that whoever came one as going to struggle at end of transfer window.
