Carlisle

Looks like they struggling to sell a lot of tickets due to travelling,cost and kick off time. They would have to set off about 0330. The finals should be at a ground big enough and closer to both sides.

Carlisle have sold 14,880. One of their fans on Twitter called that embarrassing but as people on here have pointed out it is an early start for us and a stupidly early start for them. Trains are full and expensive anyway. The drive is long but manageable for us but a right haul for them. People is skint. City and United fans were at Wembley the other week and again next week, not to mention that United were there for the Carabou Cup not too long ago. The venue obviously cannot be changed according to who makes the final, but London London London FFS!

Not just London, its a crap location within London. Just a ball ache all round.

If they're gone to have a national stadium down there, then it should have built a stadium just off the M25 and near a main line Railway station, such as Watford, Slough or Potters Bar.

I have to confess that I've decided not to go. All the family weighed it up and we made a collective decision based on travel, location, bags et al.

I've been to the previous 5 but will be watching on the big screen at home with family and friends this time followed by a barbecue in the garden.

I keep convincing myself that it isn't too bad an alternative

Talking about bags, what a stupid rule, the size is stupid although for safety I can understand it, I have a small camera case so I can get two sausage rolls in.

The bag thing was the final straw tbh.

An ex-colleague I spoke to who's a Leicester fan said he took a bag with a butty box and a drink in and was told he was going to have to leave it at the 'bag depot' as it was too big. So he had to leave the queue, hunt around for the 'depot' and then drop the bag. He then had to toddle off there at the end of the game to collect it only to find it wasn't there. As he waited while they searched, he could hear much hilarity in the background but still no bag.

Better than Wembley but Brum on the train is as pants as it comes at the best of times.

Always thought Derby would be pretty central and easy to get to/from with a little bit of planning - but of course we don’t do planning if any sort in this country and public transport, especially the trains, is going from worse to shite

Yes the obvious place for a National Stadium was Birmingham.As you say easy to get to for everyone and good rail links,but too many snouts in the trough at the FA so it stayed in London and its a crap place too
