Poor

Even the regular good performers were suspect tonight. We look a million miles away from the team that finished 2022. No cohesion or spark and looking distinctly average against a poor Crewe team. Think we might have to wait another season in League 2 as there are too many savvy teams here for us. Carlisle looking strong now and only lost 5 all season.

I do hope that Crewe signed a new grounsdsman in the transfer window.

That said, once again that performance wasn't the Stockport County of twelve months ago.

Better in the second half but still well short of the required standard.

And come on DC, let us know what's up with Tonto our expensive new striker

Think he mentions on PMI that Tanto has been signed back off to train. Also Fraser and Antoni back on the grass.

Yes HH Carlisle looking strong right now with a thumping 5-1 victory over Barrow tonight. Kristian Dennis comes on as a substitute and scores their 5th goal. I then look across to see who scored Barrow’s consolation goal and it turns out to be Ben Barclay. A centre back that DC obviously doesn’t rate but look where Carlisle are in the table.

There is something not right at the moment.
DC doesn't seem his normal self both during and post match.

I agree …it could be that “ behind closed doors “ dialogue between DC and our D of F are not running too smoothly …

Just a thought… no means of knowing if that’s the case of course..

I've said the same thing, something definitely not right. Strange signings and lethargic performances and Chally out of sorts (could be down to illness).

Let a good winger go out on loan as he rarely played him and then signs another. Tonto and Stretton both injured but strike me as lightweight (desperately hope I'm wrong).

Looking to the bench tonight for inspiration but....nothing. It struck me that Chally didn't want to make changes as Hussey was running on empty for 15 minutes before finally being withdrawn. He obviously doesn't fancy Evans. McDonald was an odd signing (contract extension). Seems as though we're more about quantity than quality.

The older I get the better I was.

Bad policy to me. We are playing now, spectators are paying now. It’s a results game. We need players who can drop in and perform now.
To me players for the future should be home grown players working their way up the ladder.

He signed a short-term deal until January and then signed another short-term deal until the summer.

He joined the club waiting for a better offer and it finally came.
