I know there is time to turn it around but it is just a little worrying that recently we have been finding ways to not win games like earlier in the season. Instead of challenging for that third spot we have now stumbled back into the playoff chasing pack. We really need to get the momentum back, string some wins together (we're not going to win them all but starting at Crewe please) and maintain that momentum to the end of the season, including playoffs if necessary. All IMVHO of course

Over the last few days I’ve watched clips on YouTube from our time in the CN some of which were around 7/8 years ago. Very noticeable is the poor standard of football on display and some of the crappy grounds we played at Corby springs to mind with a forty foot trailer behind one of the goal lines. Although Saturday’s game wasn’t the result we all wanted we need to remind ourselves where we have been for the last 11 years. County fans who contribute to any form of social media need to just give our heads a gentle wobble.
Most of us at the start of the season would have excepted a mid table finish come the end of the current campaign. Perhaps our expectations gathered a bit of momentum during November & December and have been brought back down to earth with a draw v Bradford & loss away to Wimbledon. Put those games behind us now and move on to our next game v Crewe tomorrow night.
For me right now I’m just happy to be back in the FL. One thing I am certain of is that we won’t be in the bottom two in May.
I have to say that after about 10 games this year I was just praying that we would not go straight back down. From then we turned into a promotion side and now into a upper half/playoff side. Some forget we should not expect to win every game. Also I would not want us to sneak up and then face a season-long struggle in Div 1. All things said I feel we have enough to be thereabouts come May and then add to what we have in the summer. County since 1967, Brisbane.
Great post from Jonnyquango . These are exactly the points I have tried to make in previous messages , we just expect far too much . What annoys the County fans is most of the teams in League Two are very ordinary , lack quality , are dour , drab and defensive . Perhaps League Two is a poor quality League . Having said that , I predicted that we would finish seventh , all the games are winnable , the play offs are there for the taking and perhaps the dream of taking on the Accrington’s ,the Morecambes , the Burtons , could easily become reality . Yes we have lost our way a little recently , I think we have missed Sarsevic a bit , who can play brilliantly in small patches of games and can score goals . Hippo has lost form and needs a rest , I would give Hussey a game tomoz , and play Camps and Stretton who may be a bit sharper having got a bit of match time in recently ? Looks virtually certain that Wrexham and Notts. County will get promoted and their fans would expect nothing less than the league two play offs ! Paul Mullins , now that would be a great signing , we would win the league with him !!
You cant compare the two, last season we were playing against inferior teams so we obviously would look better. Hence you cant compare and say that last years team was better than this years, do you think last seasons team would beat this years
