Why he wasn’t taken off straight away is beyond me. Sorry but there’s no excuse
Some of the hoardings are archaic. Watched them move some near the players tunnel at half time, it was comic, steel frames weighed down with old Iron weights. They could hardly shift em !!

Don't want to bring back memories of the sharks playing at EP ,they had padding Velcro to all of the pitch exit gates to prevent such injuries

I don't reckon it was malicious but it was definitely dangerous in the end. Might need to do something about the gating around the edge of the pitch after this.

No it was malicious. Watch the video footage and the defender's eyes. Didn't think so myself until I saw it again, he was waiting for him!

I'm not saying it was accidental, I'm saying that it wasn't malicious; he's trying to block MSH's way, he's not trying to shove him into the barriers.

Definitely malicious from the replay, although I thought MSH put himself at risk by careening after a ball he was never going to reach. Just before the nudge in the back I thought he could hurt himself here.
The safety of the barriers needs looking at.

It was sickening to see . Should of come off straight away. Hope he’s ok but he’ll definitely be out for the Rochdale game .

Agreed, hope he’s ok.

Just watched some of the match on ITV4+1 and the challenge looked fairly innocuous tbf. Really nasty collision though with the boards, there was concrete and metal in his path and it was sickening to see. I’m surprised he got up let alone carry on.

Really feel for MSH. It’s part of the game where a defender can push and shove off a player to shield the ball when going out of play. To me that’s obstruction and should be classed as a foul. Nevertheless I wish MSH a speedy recovery and hope nothing serious is found and he is back playing as soon as possible.

Totally agree! Hope Macca's soon up & about again soon, he's far too valuable to us. Wish him a speedy recovery. You're also right about the 'obstruction' part, I've felt the same for a long time. No way can that be called a part of the game

Yes, you're right! I cannot see how that kind of tactic can be considered a legitimate part of the game! At the very least it's cheating & refs & the authorities should be dealing with it harshly
